A chance conversation set in motion work on the ground which seemed to gain a life of its own and best of all was achieved at minimal cost to the club. The financing has come about by a series of grants, help by contacts previously unknown to the club, whose enthusiasm and support has been magnificent.

A magnificent effort by everyone.

In total there have been 26 ground improvements and projects. Highlights include CCTV cameras all around the ground:

  1. CCTV Cameras all around the Ground and Bars.
  2. Resined Terracing at Cricket Ground end.
  3. New Folkestone Invicta Lottery launched.
  4. Staring new Folkestone Invicta Academy.
  5. New Perimeter Fencing around the Pitch.
  6. Trees inside ground Cut & Trimmed.
  7. Old Supporters Club Shed adjacent to Bar Invicta demolished/removed.
  8. New and existing Advertising Boards erected on new Perimeter Fencing.
  9. Rubbish cleared from behind Main Stand.
  10. New drain installed behind Main Stand to prevent flooding.
  11. New Fences erected at front & back of Bar Invicta.
  12. Agreed new contract with 3 Hills for Pitch Maintenance.
  13. New agreement with Buildkent for Stadium Sponsorship.
  14. New agreement with Wilmoth’s/Citroen for sponsored Car.
  15. Refurbishing of Turnstiles including new Roof and Lighting.
  16. Refurbishing Wilf Armory suite and new Lighting.
  17. Painting Changing Rooms and New Lighting.
  18. Revamping Fixture Board on main road.
  19. New Electronic Scorebard.
  20. Water Butts installed to collect Water and re-use on Pitch.
  21. Mountain of old Grass Cuttings removed from near Supporters Shop.
  22. Resin laid in big area at Bar Invicta.
  23. New Health & Safety Officer appointed.
  24. Tarmacing/Resin around new Perimeter Fencing/Driveway.
  25. New outside Doors fitted at Wilf Armory Suite.
  26. New Lighting in Main Stand.
