SPONSORSHIP AND MASCOTS OPPORTUNITY FOR GILLS GAME AT FOLKESTONE

Folkestone Invicta are looking for a Match Sponsor for Saturday’s opening pre-season game at The Fullicks Stadium when Division One Gillingham are the visitors for a 12.30pm kick-off.

Mascots are also welcomed – either through the sponsors themselves, or by arrangement with club.

Please contact Neil Cugley on 07770 558578 if you can help with this or any other sponsorship opportunities.

“Steve (Lovell, pictured) has promised us that it will be their full first team” said Invicta boss Neil Cugley.

“Their development squad have a game in the afternoon at Sheppey so it’s a busy day all-round for the Gills.

“It’s looking likely that Tom Hadler and Finn (O’Mara) will be here with us, so it will be good to see those too lads again.”

Launched

Defender O’Mara helped Invicta put together the run that launched Folkestone on their way to the eventual fourth place finish in a three months loan spell last season while goalkeeper Tom Hadler played for the club in three cup ties in his late teens before going onto to make the England Under 19s squad.

“I’m told Tom could well be in their first team this season” said Cugley.

At Priestfield, Czech keeper Tomas Holy – said to be interesting Crystal Palace among others, ended last year in the number one jersey but reports from Medway suggest that it’s the other Tom who might be in the side by kick-off time in August.
